Key Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, cages, treatment areas, and common spaces according to hospital protocols
-
Feed, water, walk, and monitor hospitalized and boarding animals
-
Observe pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or condition and report concerns to veterinary staff
-
Assist with patient comfort, including bedding changes, enrichment, and basic handling
-
Launder towels, bedding, and other reusable supplies
-
Restock cleaning and animal care supplies as needed
-
Safely handle animals of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments
-
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines
-
Provide support to veterinary technicians and doctors as needed
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Previous experience working with animals (professional or volunteer) preferred
-
Basic knowledge of animal behavior and handling is a plus
-
Ability to follow detailed instructions and hospital protocols

Strong attention to cleanliness and organization

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required
