Facilities Technician - Maintenance
Congregation Shearith Israel is a synagogue in North Dallas with a building of 95,000 square feet on a property of 14 acres. We are seeking a full-time staff person to add to our Maintenance Department to assist with building/grounds maintenance and repair. This person will work directly under the Facilities Manager.
The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of industry's best practices in this field, ensuring optimal functioning and sustainability of our facility's physical and operational structure.
The ability to form collaborative working relationships and demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills is critical. In addition, applicants should have strong analytical, organizational, data management, and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General maintenance issues throughout the building and fields including, but not limited to:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Carpentry
- Assist with the preventative maintenance efforts of buildings and fields
- Additional duties as assigned
