A general contractor specializing in mission‑critical environments is seeking a Working Foreman to support interior CSA packages inside active data centers. This role blends hands‑on carpentry with crew leadership, daily coordination, and strict adherence to safety and data‑center protocols.
The ideal candidate has a strong commercial carpentry background and experience with drywall, selective demo, bolt‑up steel, and small‑scale concrete work.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Leadership
- Lead and direct small crews performing interior CSA tasks
- Assign daily work, maintain productivity, and ensure proper sequencing
- Coordinate with the Superintendent on manpower, materials, and daily goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite inside active data halls
Hands‑On Carpentry & CSA Work
- Install and modify Unistrut racking systems (overhead and floor‑mounted)
- Perform drywall hanging, patching, metal framing, and painting
- Install doors, frames, and hardware
- Execute bolt‑up steel installs (HSS columns, small beams, platforms)
- Perform selective interior demo of non‑structural partitions
- Assist with small‑scale concrete (pads, curbs, housekeeping pads)
Data Center Protocols
- Work around energized equipment following strict “look, don’t touch” rules
- Maintain high situational awareness in mission‑critical environments
- Follow all badging, access, and safety requirements
Quality & Documentation
- Review work for accuracy and craftsmanship
- Communicate progress, issues, and field conditions to the Superintendent
- Ensure work is ready for inspections and turnover
QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Strong carpentry background (drywall, framing, DFH, ACT, Unistrut, bolt‑up steel)
- Ability to lead crews while staying productive on the tools
- Ability to read drawings, perform layout, and understand sequencing
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified
- CPR/First Aid Certified
Preferred
- Experience working in active data centers or other mission‑critical environments
Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
