Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 assistance to students as directed by teachers and school staff
- Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
- Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, transitions, and mobility
- Supervise and support students’ personal care and medical needs
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- TB test in accordance with district policies
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Willingness to obtain or show current clearances as required
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience (a plus, but not required)
- Reliable, patient, team-oriented approach
