EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides leadership and direction for psychological services within the correctional facility. The role ensures that treatment programs, evaluations, and clinical practices support inmate well-being and align with agency standards. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, you will perform the following duties:

Clinical Supervision: Oversee psychological staff and guide evaluations, counseling, and crisis response services

Program Leadership: Manage development of psychological programs and coordinate policy and procedure improvements

Committee Oversight: Lead key mental health and review committees to support coordinated inmate care

Testing Review: Evaluate psychological test interpretations and ensure accuracy of diagnostic reporting

Consultation Services: Provide guidance to staff regarding mental health treatment plans and specialized unit needs

Accreditation Support: Ensure compliance with standards required for accreditation and represent the agency as needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
