Metro Security Services is seeking professional, detail-oriented Unarmed Security Officers with a valid TWIC card to support operations at a high-security site in Providence, RI.
This position is ideal for individuals who excel in access control, accountability, and professionalism in a compliance-driven environment.
Position Overview
As a Security Officer at this location, you will be responsible for strict access control and credential verification, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the site. You will serve as a key point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors while maintaining a strong and professional security presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce strict access control procedures for all personnel and visitors
- Verify identification and credentials, including TWIC cards, with accuracy
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all site activity
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure full compliance with site protocols
- Screen and track vendors, deliveries, and contractors
- Communicate clearly with site management, staff, and visitors
- Maintain a professional, alert, and customer-service-oriented presence at all times
Requirements
- Valid TWIC Card (REQUIRED)
- Prior security, access control, or related experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to remain alert and professional throughout shifts
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
Schedule Details
- Shifts available between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
