Qualifications & Skills
- Active registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) or the Board of Psychology (Psychological Assistant).
- At least 500 direct client hours and fewer than 1,500 total supervised hours preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to provide LGBTQIA+-affirming, CBT culturally informed care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Availability for at least two evenings (~last possible appointment by 8 pm) and/or one weekend day (~available between 9 am to 2 pm).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to provide in-person sessions at an IPS office location.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a minimum of 18-20 weekly client sessions, with the expectation of building your caseload within 4 months.
- Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes) within 48 hours in our EHR system.
- Attend required clinical supervision (group, triad, or individual).
- Provide culturally responsive CBT and affirming care to clients.
- Integrate objective data (e.g., self-report outcome measures) to inform case conceptualization and treatment planning.
- Option to train in immigration evaluations (VAWA, U-Visa, Hardship, Asylum) when clinically appropriate.
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to build and sustain a caseload.
Compensation & Benefits
- W-2 Employment Status with competitive hourly pay.
- Pay range: $36.00 – $43.00 per client hour, based on experience and caseload. Enhanced hourly rates are available to clinicians who maintain more than 20 clients per week.
- Clinical supervision is paid at the minimum wage rate.
