American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring telemetry skills, Epic experience, and an active IL RN license.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes telemetry, cardiac monitoring, COPD, CAD, CHF, AFib, sepsis, and COVID cases
-
Skills utilized include cardiac drips, bedside cardioversion, chest tubes, IV insertion, and emergency response
-
Uses Epic EMR (experience required)

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract
-
Active IL RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 1 year of PCU or relevant RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, chest tube management, IV insertion, cardiac drips, and bedside cardioversion

Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
