A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a qualified and professional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the daily operations of the nursing department. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure regulatory compliance, high‑quality resident care, and effective clinical leadership.
The ADON is responsible for assisting with the coordination and oversight of nursing services, supporting staff development, and maintaining adherence to all clinical policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
Assist the Director of Nursing with management of clinical operations
Provide supervision, guidance, and performance support to nursing staff
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
Support staffing coordination and workflow management
Promote a professional, resident‑focused environment
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold facility standards
Qualifications
Current, active RN license
Previous experience in long‑term care leadership (ADON, Unit Manager, or similar)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical best practices
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
