Under the supervision of the Collections Supervisor, the Cashier receives direct payments from consumers, verifies amounts, issues receipt, and responds to inquiries and comments.
What you’ll do:
- Greets consumers politely
- Receives payments in the form of cash, check, card via computer system and portal swiping system.
- Verifies amount received against current record of amount due and owing
- Completes and issues receipt in amount received
- Count and balance cash drawer at the end of the day
- Responds to consumer questions or comments
- All other duties as needed.
What you bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Cashiering experience preferred
- Prior cash handling experience and the ability to keep accurate transactional data and records
- Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.
