We are seeking an energetic and strategic individual to lead our business-to-business (B2B) sales initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment. The Service Sales Representative is responsible for generating service-related revenue through customer relationship development, roof inspections, maintenance agreements, and repair sales. This position serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring timely response, accurate scope development, and professional execution of commercial roofing service solutions. Compensation for this role is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, with significant earning potential through our performance-based commission structure. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Development & Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, and building owners. Generate new service opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals. Pursue T&M repairs, preventative maintenance programs, roof inspections, and small capital projects. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Roof Inspections & Evaluations: Conduct roof inspections and condition assessments. Identify roofing deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Document findings through photographs, roof sketches, and inspection reports. Develop scopes of work based on observed conditions.
- Estimating & Proposal Development: Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for service and repair work. Coordinate with operations on labor, materials, and scheduling. Ensure proposals meet company margin targets and follow up on all outstanding opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the sales process. Conduct regular customer visits, respond promptly to inquiries, and maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Service Department Coordination: Collaborate with Service Coordinators and Managers to schedule work. Participate in pre-job planning, assist field personnel with technical information, and verify completed work and customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain accurate CRM records, document all customer interactions, submit weekly sales activity reports, and track pipeline, proposals, forecasted revenue, and inspection activity.
