American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring a TX or compact RN license, strong cardiac experience, and prior travel nursing experience.

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown) of a hospital setting
-
Heavy cardiac and CVA patient population
-
Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, including heparin and nitro (titration and non-titration)
-
Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
-
Day shift schedule with options for 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00)

13-week assignment length

Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Epic charting experience strongly preferred

Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Provide cardiac nursing care including monitoring, medication management, and emergency response for a cardiac/CVA patient population

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted

Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation

Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen
