HireQuest Northwest is seeking a friendly, organized, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Staffing Coordinator to join our Hillsboro team on a temporary basis.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our workers and clients, helping create a welcoming experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and making a positive impact in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in staffing, recruiting, and workforce operations while working with a supportive team.
What You'll Do
As a Staffing Coordinator, you'll help keep the branch running smoothly by supporting both our clients and Field Team Members.
Your responsibilities will include:
Front Office & Customer Service
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk-in applicants and clients
- Provide outstanding customer service in both English and Spanish
- Respond to questions from Field Team Members and clients
- Schedule onboarding appointments and interviews
Onboarding & Compliance
- Assist new employees through the onboarding process
- Verify I-9 documentation and other required employment paperwork
- Upload and maintain employee records in company systems
- Support background check and compliance processes
- Ensure worker files are complete and accurate
Staffing Support
- Assist with dispatching workers to job assignments
- Contact workers regarding job opportunities and schedule changes
- Follow up on attendance, availability, and documentation
- Help maintain an active workforce ready for placement
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records and notes
- Assist with payroll, timesheets, and other administrative tasks
- Support branch operations and special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Previous customer service, administrative, recruiting, or staffing experience is a plus
