Position Overview
Seeking a Contract Mental Health Therapist – Adolescent to join our team.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services to adolescent behavioral health patients.
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Support safe and effective patient care in an outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Active Virginia license to practice therapy.
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience preferred.
- Experience providing clinical services to outpatient populations.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Certifications
- BLS Certification required.
- CPI Certification required (training may be provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Adult behavioral health experience.
- Experience with discharge planning.
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or other EMR systems.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,600.00 per week
