Join Keystone Allergy and Asthma Center as a Medical Assistant to deliver compassionate care and all-around excellence. We are a unique pediatric to adult private medical practice. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated self-starter Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Vital signs
- Administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Performing skin prick testing, ear lavages, pulmonary function testing
- Mixing allergen extract for allergy shot prescriptions - after competency proven
- May perform a variety of administrative/clerical duties, scheduling patient appointments, pre-certifying procedures, getting visit prior-authorization and referrals, check in and checkout of patients, answering patient phones by collecting data to forward to the physician for triage
- Work closely under supervision with a physician
- Maintain electronic medical records, and other computer software as it relates to job functions.
Experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant from an approved training program
- Attention to detail and interpersonal and computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and planning skills
- Experienced computer skills
Job Type: Part-Time turning into Full-Time position
Salary: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri (TBD)
