Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across commercial construction sites and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings, including lighting, power distribution, and low voltage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system functionality.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical components to support automation and control systems.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate installation activities, ensuring timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation or new construction projects, troubleshooting high voltage and low voltage issues as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and test results.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment responsibly on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the industry.
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in industrial electrician tasks preferred.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new builds.
- Knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation components is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices.
- Strong safety awareness with a commitment to following OSHA guidelines on all projects.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
