Join a Modern Dental Wellness Practice Where Compassion, Excellence, and Innovation Come Together
About Us
At Vineyard Dental Group, we believe exceptional dentistry is about more than healthy teeth—it's about improving our patients' overall health, confidence, and quality of life.
We are a modern dental wellness practice that combines advanced technology with genuine compassion, thoughtful communication, and a commitment to lifelong learning. We continually invest in education, digital dentistry, and innovative treatment methods so we can provide the highest level of care while creating an experience that is calm, personal, and relationship-driven.
We're looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant who doesn't simply want another position—they want to become an integral part of a practice that values excellence, teamwork, growth, and making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
This position is 2–4 days per week.
Who You Are
You're the kind of assistant who naturally stays two steps ahead.
You love walking into a treatment room knowing everything is prepared before the doctor arrives. Organization comes naturally to you. You enjoy technology, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely care about making patients feel comfortable.
You don't wait to be told what needs to be done—you notice it, take ownership, and make it happen.
Most importantly, you're a team player. You understand that outstanding patient care is the result of everyone working together with a shared purpose.
What Success Looks Like
When the doctor walks into the operatory:
- The patient is seated comfortably and feels welcomed.
- Medical history has been reviewed.
- Blood pressure has been taken and documented.
- Necessary radiographs and clinical photos are available.
- The patient's chart is open and organized.
- Instruments and materials are prepared.
- Treatment begins without delay.
Beyond preparing the room, you help manage each patient's journey.
You understand where each patient is in their treatment plan, what matters most to them, and any concerns or preferences that influence their care. You help ensure the entire team stays aligned so every patient receives a seamless, personalized experience.
Throughout the day, you anticipate what comes next, communicate proactively with the doctor and team, and help coordinate the schedule so patients move efficiently through their appointments while still feeling cared for and unrushed.

- Keep treatment rooms organized and fully stocked
- Help coordinate patient flow with the front office and hygiene team
- Assist with patient education and postoperative instructions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Help manage patient cases from diagnosis through treatment completion
- Understand each patient's goals, values, concerns, and treatment preferences
- Communicate clearly and effectively so patients, doctors, hygienists, assistants, and the front office remain aligned throughout treatment
- Help remove barriers that prevent patients from moving forward with their care
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

- You struggle with change or learning new technology.
- You frequently arrive late.

- Tell us about a time you anticipated a doctor's or teammate's needs before they asked. What happened, and what was the outcome?
- What do you enjoy most about being a dental assistant?
- Describe a challenge or mistake that you didn't handle well at the time. Looking back, what did you learn from that experience, and how has it changed the way you approach similar situations today?
- What are the three most important values a dental practice must have for you to love working there?
- For each of those values, what needs to happen consistently for you to continue living those values—even during stressful or challenging days?
