This position is responsible for application development and operational support for a Japanese bank in the U.S. The IT Specialist will develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases to meet business and operational requirements.

Develop, maintain, and support business applications and related databases.

Support application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Create and maintain technical documentation.
-
Coordinate application change management and deployment activities.

Communicate and collaborate with business users, IT teams, project teams, and external vendors.

Contribute to continuous improvement, automation initiatives, project delivery, and operational excellence.

Minimum of 3 years of application development experience.

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing system applications in the banking industry.

English proficiency required.

Knowledge of financial instruments, wholesale banking, lending, or market risk management preferred.

Experience with SWIFT messaging and payment systems preferred.

Experience with SharePoint administration preferred.

Experience with UiPath Studio (RPA) development preferred.

Understanding of application security and change management best practices preferred.
