Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finishing Supervisor to lead our finishing operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are completed efficiently before they move to the next stage. As a Finishing Supervisor, you will oversee the team, coordinate with welding and paint departments, and ensure safety and productivity are maintained at all times. Your leadership will help drive continuous improvement in finishing, and ensure shipping deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Supervise your crew in putting boards in trailers, installing lights, and staging trailers for shipments
- Coordinate with the other departments to ensure seamless transition of product from welding to shipping
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods within the facility, also operate a telehandler to stack trailers
- Monitor quality control standards, inspecting finished products for defects or inconsistencies and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Train and mentor finishing team members on proper use of tools, safety procedures, and manufacturing
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and production output for reporting purposes
- Keep track of inventory within the finishing department
Experience
- Proven factory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a production or finishing department
- Hands-on experience with assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge related to finishing processes
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and quality assurance procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
