American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality with 2+ years of CT experience for a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center ED setting, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

CT Scan - ED unit within a 885-bed Level 1 Trauma Designated academic teaching hospital
-
54-bed department with 4 Radiology rooms and 4 CT rooms serving both Peds and Adult patients
-
Average census of 200 patients per day
-
Patient population includes trauma and stroke cases
-
12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
-
Shift times vary between 6:30a-7p or 11p-11:30a on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or 2:30p-1a Monday-Thursday, or 6:30p-7a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday on a 4-week schedule cycle

No on-call or call-back requirements

Floating limited to the CT department for ED coverage only

Uses Siemens, GE, and Canon CT and X-ray equipment, RadPRO portable and mini-C-Arm units

EPIC EMR used
-
Minimum 2 years of CT experience required

BLS certification required
-
ARRT Certification RT(R)(CT) required

License required if applicable

Skilled in both CT and X-ray, with willingness to be trained on Fluoro machine setup

EPIC EMR experience required

Must be able to work with both Adult and Peds patient populations

Must be able to remain calm and effective in high-acuity, Level 1 trauma situations
-
Perform CT and X-ray imaging for adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma emergency department setting

Supported by a leadership team of 5 senior staff

Departmental orientation up to 5 days depending on experience

Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays

RTO requests require manager approval
