JOB TITLE: Payroll/HR Generalist
SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for keeping the HR and Payroll records up to date with audit compliance. Will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, scheduling new employee orientations and training, and entering a high volume of employment records into our HR database.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Benefits/HR Generalist reports to the VP of Technology and Human Resources.

Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including time and attendance reconciliation, wage garnishments, payroll transfers, and resolution of payroll-related inquiries.
Maintain accurate employee records, track leave requests and absences, and ensure compliance with payroll, HR, and regulatory requirements.
Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, background checks, orientation, and collection of required employment documentation.
Administer employee benefits programs, respond to HR-related inquiries, and provide day-to-day administrative support through the HRIS and employee management systems.
Assist with employee training initiatives, process improvement efforts, and organizational communications under the direction of HR leadership.
Coordinate performance evaluation processes, maintain related records and timelines, and build strong working relationships with managers, employees, and administrative staff.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Humanities, Psychology, Human Services, HR Recruiter or related fields and 2 years of experience
Knowledge of Human Resources policies.
Attention to detail
Good record keeping skills
Outstanding communication skills for working with operations staff. Knowledge of ADP.
