Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selections, including conducting product demos when appropriate
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to maximize sales opportunities
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-maintained
- Manage cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and basic math calculations for transactions
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store products to answer customer questions confidently and assist with merchandising efforts
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for supporting team members during shifts
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales processing
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
