Job Summary
We are in need of all around help including customer service, cashier and Fireplace Sales. In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their fireplace and renovation needs, providing expert advice on high-end sales, layout design and remodeling projects. Your organizational skills and customer-focused approach will ensure a seamless shopping experience, from product demos to upselling premium features. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in retail sales, construction sales, and interior design within a vibrant environment. Part time to start out with possibility of full time in the future. Training on fireplaces, fireplace related products and fireplace sales will be provided. Applying in person is preferred.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their fireplace, renovation, and remodeling needs through active listening and consultation.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features of fireplaces, lighting options, and related accessories to enhance customer understanding.
- Manage inside sales transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Upsell high-end products and premium services by highlighting benefits aligned with customer preferences and project goals.
- Collaborate with clients on negotiation and deal closing to secure sales that meet both customer expectations and company targets.
- Maintain organized stock levels, merchandising displays, and ensure the store is well-stocked with relevant products for easy customer access.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing account information, and following up on leads.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting new products or services that enhance the showroom experience.
- Assist with general store maintenance including lighting adjustments, product demos, and ensuring the retail space remains inviting.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail sales or construction sales with a focus on high-end products or remodeling projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of fireplace installation, renovation processes or construction experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals confidently while upselling additional products or services.
- Organizational skills for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that fosters positive relationships with clients.
- Must be able to count back change on cash sales.
