Job Summary
We are seeking a FLUENT SPANISH AND ENGLISH dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate diagnoses
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent
- Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other digital tools to enhance patient care quality
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems for scheduling, billing, and record keeping
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically
- Expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry
- Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately through comprehensive evaluation methods
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy
