The University of California, Riverside School of Medicine (UCR SOM), is recruiting two part-time Psychiatrists (up to 0.50 FTE each) to support the launch of the new View Hospital Adult Services Program, scheduled to open in July 2026. These positions will play a foundational role in supporting clinical operations, patient care, and the academic mission associated with the expansion of services at View Hospital. The physicians will contribute to the development of a high-quality clinical program while collaborating with faculty, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams. The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree, be board certified and/or eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR affiliated hospitals. The full salary range for the Psychiatrist positions are: -Associate Physician Diplomate (board certified + 1 year exp): $163,400 - $400,300; expected pay scale for this position is up to $310,000 annually. -Associate Physician (board eligible + 1 year exp): $142,100 - $348,100; expected pay scale for this position is up to $290,000 annually. -Assistant Physician (board eligible): $123,500 - $302,600; expected pay scale for this position is up to $270,000 annually. These rates are annual rates at 100% FTE appointment and will be pro-rated based on appointment FTE %. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
