Automotive Porter / Automotive Support Specialist Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Runner to support daily shop operations. This role is essential to maintaining shop efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting both the service and technician teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Automotive Porter / Automotive Support Specialist Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control test drives to verify repairs.
- Assist with customer vehicle pickup and drop-off.
- Manage vehicle intake, pickup, and delivery.
- Perform car wash and vehicle detailing as needed.
- Handle parts pickup and delivery from vendors.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, including trash cleanup and organization.
- Support technicians and service advisors with odd jobs and general shop duties.
Automotive Porter / Automotive Support Specialist Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 and hold a Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
- Automotive experience preferred but not required.
