Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Caregiver to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for children in a private home setting. Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, diapering, and nap times to promote comfort and consistency
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and developmental exercises to stimulate growth and learning
- Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning toys, children's areas, and light laundry
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and assisting with mobility or communication as needed
- Provide personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs, appointments, or outings when required
- Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations following proper protocols to ensure safety at all times
- Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on children’s progress, activities, and any concerns
Skills
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants and toddlers
- Strong background in childcare with private home or nannying experience preferred
- Knowledge of preschool activities, early childhood development, and teaching methods suitable for young learners
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Ability to perform cleaning duties related to childcare areas and residential housekeeping tasks efficiently
- Skilled in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional requirements
- Certified in first aid and CPR to handle emergencies confidently
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with parents and family members
- Personal transportation assistance capability for school runs or outings when necessary
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for nurturing children's growth in a safe environment
