Onsite in California. We are looking an experienced LabWare LIMS Configuration Specialist to support a LabWare 8 upgrade for a GMP laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in configuring, implementing, and optimizing LabWare LIMS for raw materials, commercial products, laboratory equipment, and system integrations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience configuring LabWare LIMS 8, working in GMP laboratories, and supporting laboratory workflows, instrument integrations, and validation activities.
Responsibilities:
As the LabWare LIMS Configuration Specialist, you will:
- Configure and implement LabWare LIMS 8 for raw materials, commercial products, stability programs, and laboratory equipment
- Design and maintain laboratory workflows, test methods, specifications, and sampling plans
- Configure master data using standardized and compliant LabWare design practices
- Support integration between LabWare LIMS and laboratory instruments and enterprise systems (including LabX, Empower, and other GMP applications)
- Translate business, quality, and regulatory requirements into compliant LabWare configurations
- Support LIMS validation activities by providing configuration documentation and requirements traceability
- Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues to ensure reliable laboratory operations
- Collaborate with laboratory, quality, validation, and IT teams throughout the project
- Help ensure LabWare workflows are scalable, compliant, and ready for production use
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience configuring LabWare LIMS (LabWare 8 preferred)
- Experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences laboratory
- Strong knowledge of:
- Raw material testing
- Commercial product testing
- Laboratory equipment workflows
- Master data configuration
- Experience translating laboratory and regulatory requirements into LIMS solutions
- Experience supporting LIMS validation and documentation
- Experience integrating LabWare with laboratory instruments and systems such as Empower, LabX, or similar platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting LabWare 8 upgrades or large LIMS implementation projects
- Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting inspection-ready GMP laboratory systems
- Experience with instrument interfaces and parsing scripts
