V&R Accounting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our professional team. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with numbers, providing exceptional client service, and contributing to a collaborative office environment.
This position is ideal for someone with accounting experience who is looking for long-term career growth in a well-established public accounting firm.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of accounting experience required
- Income tax preparation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and data management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide monthly bookkeeping and accounting services for assigned business clients
- Prepare financial reports and reconcile client accounts
- Assist with payroll processing and related payroll tax filings
- Assist with individual and business income tax preparation during tax season
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding accounting and tax matters
- Maintain accurate client records while ensuring confidentiality
