Dental assistant needed for Orthodontic specialty practice. Applicant must enjoy working in a professional, fast paced environment, be reliable, motivated and have a positive attitude. Full time position, 4-5 days/week. The position includes office hours in the following locations: Ballston Spa (1 day/week), Gloversville (3 days/week), Saratoga Springs (2day/month) and Clifton Park (2 days/month). Hours are 8am-4:30pm. No nights or weekends.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Greeting and seating patients
- Preparing instruments for patient treatment
- Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting the Doctor with patient procedures
- Entering treatment notes in patients electronic chart
- Taking X-rays and impressions
- Performing 3D intraoral scans
With training and certification, assistants will have expanded duties.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicant should have excellent communication skills and be proficient with computers. Previous dental experience is very helpful but we will train the right person.
