Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Shipping/Receiving Expeditor to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods through efficient shipping and receiving processes. Duties
- Coordinate and administer shipping and receiving processes, including documentation, product identification, purchase order processing, system transactions, and supply coordination.
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities and material movements, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required records.
- Verify product identification and component accuracy to prevent incorrect storage, handling, receipt, or shipment.
- Utilize approved equipment and tools within the assigned work area in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare, review, and maintain required inventory and material documentation, including stock transactions, adjustments, and receiving records.
- Support order fulfillment activities to ensure delivery, documentation, and verification requirements are met in alignment with on-time delivery objectives.
- Issue and manage production schedules and order requirements; initiate manufacturing orders; monitor order status; and expedite materials as needed to meet schedule commitments.
- Coordinate material acquisition activities to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support operational requirements.
- Adhere to applicable safety, regulatory, and company requirements within assigned responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) regulations and related documentation requirements.
- Participate in daily operational meetings to communicate priorities, status, and expectations.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, including scheduling, production, maintenance, and quality, to support efficient operations.
- Complete order closure activities within the enterprise system and ensure accurate filing of all associated documentation.
- Assist in researching and resolving discrepancies related to materials received from suppliers.
- Perform material handling activities using authorized equipment in accordance with established procedures and training.
- Support Quality functions by assisting with counting and identifying incoming materials.
- Maintain housekeeping and organizational standards within assigned areas.
- Perform assigned responsibilities in a consistent, accurate, and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management systems, preferably AS400, shipping & receiving, or related roles within a warehouse environment
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes such as picking & packing and order picking techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices including stocking, load & unload procedures, and e-commerce logistics
- Prior experience with warehouse equipment like MRPs or AS400 systems is advantageous
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy loads safely, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
