We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a brand new dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including Endodontics and Prosthodontics.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Take X-Ray images as required, ensuring high-quality results.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.
- Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient comfort.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental clinic.
- Ability to assist with various dental procedures, including Endodontics and Prosthodontics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and techniques in dentistry.
