Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and diesel repairs and maintenance, with a focus on diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including multi meter is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical and diesel systems and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, including an multi meter and scanner, to ensure accurate assessments.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and tools.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, particularly an multi meter and scan tool
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
