Position Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at TLC, you will provide onsite care in our pediatric clinic and will be responsible for:
- Performing evaluations and delivering treatment based on each patient’s individualized needs and goals (clinic hours do not include weekends or holidays).
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members regarding care plans and patient progress.
- Accurately documenting all aspects of patient care in a timely manner.
- Supervising and delegating tasks to physical therapy assistants and technicians as appropriate.
- Completing all required and accurate patient billing documentation.
- Implementing physical therapy interventions that support functional outcomes and developmental progress.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Michigan.
- Prior pediatric experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to achieving high-quality patient outcomes.
- Interest in developing innovative programs to enhance the lives of the children served by TLC.
- Availability to work primarily afternoon and evening hours based on patient caseload.
