The Information Systems Security Analyst supports the protection, monitoring, and authorization of government information systems and networks. This role is responsible for implementing cybersecurity controls, supporting risk management activities, and ensuring systems comply with applicable federal and DoD cybersecurity requirements. The analyst works closely with technical teams and government stakeholders to maintain secure, resilient, and compliant IT environments.
Position supports a long-term Navy effort.
Employment is contingent upon contract award and continued Government funding.

May provide technical guidance or mentoring to junior staff as needed

Support cybersecurity operations across assigned information systems and networks
-
Assist with Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including system authorization and continuous monitoring

Identify, assess, and document cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies
-
Develop, review, and maintain security artifacts such as System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and risk assessments
-
Support vulnerability management activities, including STIG reviews and remediation tracking
-
Assist with incident response activities, including analysis, documentation, and reporting
-
Monitor system security posture and support audit readiness efforts
-
Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations
-
Coordinate with system administrators, network engineers, and program leadership to resolve security issues
-
Prepare reports and briefings for technical and nontechnical stakeholders
-
Experience supporting DoD or federal IT systems

Familiarity with NIST SP 80053, NIST SP 80037, and RMF processes

Experience with eMASS or similar authorization tracking tools
-
Knowledge of cloud security concepts and enterprise IT environments

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or information systems security

Experience supporting system security assessments, authorization activities, or continuous monitoring
-
Experience working in enterprise IT or networked environments

Must meet DoD 8140 / 8570 workforce requirements for the applicable cybersecurity role

One or more current, DoDapproved cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent)

Education may be substituted with relevant experience as permitted under DoD workforce guidelines

Remain seated and work at a computer for extended durations.

Use a keyboard, mouse, and monitor effectively for long periods.

Communicate clearly via video conferencing, phone, and email.

This position does not require regular travel. However, occasional travel may be requested to support company events, team meetings, or customer-related activities as needed. Any such trip will be communicated in advance and coordinated accordingly.

Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance if required by the Government.
