Responsibilities
- Perform welding duties on various metal structures according to specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all welding tasks.
- Inspect and assess welded joints for quality and technique accuracy.
- Maintain equipment and tools in optimal working condition through regular upkeep.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate and assemble components for warehouse operations.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete projects as required.
- Document work processes and report any discrepancies or repair needs promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and protocols associated with welding.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity for handling tools and materials.
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Hours:
5:30a-3:00p Monday-Thursday
5:30a-2:00p Friday
Some Saturdays depending on production
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
