The Part-Time Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while performing overnight front desk operations and completing the daily financial audit. This position serves as the primary hotel representative during overnight hours, ensuring accurate financial reporting, guest satisfaction, and the safety and security of the property. The Night Auditor must maintain Hilton Garden Inn hospitality standards while working independently.

Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.

Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns.

Handle reservations, room changes, and payment transactions.

Resolve guest issues or escalate concerns to management when appropriate.

Maintain a positive and service-oriented attitude throughout the shift.

Complete the nightly audit in accordance with Hilton brand and property procedures.

Balance daily revenue, post room charges, and reconcile guest accounts.

Verify all transactions and prepare daily financial reports.

Ensure accurate credit card settlements and cash balancing.

Prepare reports for hotel management and accounting.

Monitor hotel security during overnight hours.

Conduct routine property walks to ensure guest safety and identify maintenance or security concerns.

Respond to emergency situations following hotel procedures.

Communicate important information to the morning shift and management through shift logs.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.

Assist with light housekeeping or guest service duties as needed during slower periods.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or Night Audit experience preferred.

Experience with Hilton systems (PEP) is a plus but not required.

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel management software.

Strong math, accounting, and cash-handling skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Reliable attendance is essential, as this position covers the overnight Sunday shift.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to perform overnight work and remain alert throughout the shift.
