Duties
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, vacuuming pools, and brushing surfaces to ensure pristine conditions.
- Monitor and balance pool chemistry by testing water pH levels, chlorine content, and other chemical agents to maintain safe swimming environments.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect and service pool plumbing systems to prevent leaks or malfunctions, ensuring all components operate efficiently.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately according to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of aquatic facilities to identify potential issues early and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with pool maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems including pumps, filters, valves, and plumbing.
- Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely while understanding chemical balancing principles.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or facility staff.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a personal truck.
- Prior experience working with aquatic facilities or similar outdoor environments is a plus.
