IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN I
Hourly Position: $20.53/HR
Must be flexible to work Day, Swing, Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Director of IT, the IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support for all computer workstations, peripherals, and associated software within Naskila Casino. This role serves as the main point of contact for Team Members and vendor support personnel experiencing technical issues.
SUPERVISORY SCOPE:
This position directly supervises:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond to and resolve help desk tickets, including troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

Support and troubleshoot operating systems, enterprise applications, and network connectivity.

Assist with deployment and management of endpoint security, patching, and imaging systems.

Provide technical support for specialized casino applications and systems.
-
Document support activities, resolutions, and procedures in the IT ticketing system.

Ensure all computer systems and network connections are secure and compliant with gaming regulations.

Assist in ensuring all data is backed up per Naskila Management standards.

Maintain inventory of assigned IT assets.

Provide excellent customer service to Team Members, Vendors, and Guests.

Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
-
3+ years’ experience in computer systems maintenance and networks.
-
2+ years’ experience in current operating systems.
-
A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.

Ability to communicate with Team Members and Guests in a professional manner.

Good understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.

Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.
PREFERRED:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science

Certifications in IT related disciplines (e.g., CompTIA Tech+, CompTIA A+, ITIL) preferred.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies.

Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.

Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations.

Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies.

Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.

Practice good personal hygiene.

Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Director.
