General Laborer – Underground Utilities Position Summary
American Boring Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer with a CDL Class A to support underground utility and horizontal boring operations. This position involves physical, hands-on work assisting with excavation, material handling, and job site preparation while also operating company vehicles as needed.
Essential Duties
- Assist with trenching, pipe installation, and backfilling

Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites (CDL required)

Support drill operators, equipment operators, and crew members

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Perform general labor tasks as assigned by foreman or management
Qualifications
- Previous construction or underground utility experience preferred but not required

Ability to operate hand tools and small equipment

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work well in a team environment

Must be safety-conscious and follow directions

Ability to pass drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Stand, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain
