Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular stock checks and data entry into inventory management software
- Load outgoing shipments securely for delivery or transfer, adhering to shipping logistics and trade compliance standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas and managing stock replenishment using inventory management techniques
- Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load/unload trucks and move goods within the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Follow safety protocols and participate in regular training on warehouse safety procedures including the use of RF scanners and other equipment
- Assist with supervising volunteer groups
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility
- Assist other departments with projects and activities
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with knowledge of shipping & receiving processes
- Strong understanding of logistics, order picking & packing, stock stocking, and international trade regulations when applicable
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Valid certification for operating forklifts, reach trucks or other material handling equipment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain clean driving record (MVR will be reviewed yearly)
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms stoop, talk and hear
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work occasional evenings and/or weekends
- Shift may be adjusted periodically depending on business demands

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
