Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
- Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light menu items as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Qualifications
- Previous barista or coffee experience is highly preferred, along with familiarity with café operations
- Experience with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
