Responsibilities
- Operate meat cutting equipment and manual tools with precision to process hamburger according to established specifications.
- Ensure all food processing activities comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards, and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas to meet strict sanitation requirements.
- Assist in packaging finished products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and portioning.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to identify and address any deviations from safety or quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while upholding safety and food industry best practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards.
- Experience in manufacturing or food processing environments, particularly within the meat or food industry.
- Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knife skills essential for precise processing.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating processing machinery safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with packaging processes specific to food production lines.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety compliance.
- Must be 18 years
