Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our cleaning and sanitation operations across our hospitality or commercial facilities. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all areas.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet operational standards and client expectations.
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, sanitation protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to guarantee a safe environment for staff and visitors.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support smooth operations.
- Foster teamwork through effective communication, leadership, and motivation to maintain high staff morale and productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services with a strong background in hospitality or commercial cleaning environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead staff and liaise with clients or guests.
- Strong organizational abilities with experience in managing inventories and scheduling cleaning routines.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in laundry services or hospitality housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
