Job Summary

Duties
- Oversee daily security operations, including patrolling premises and monitoring access control systems to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Conduct comprehensive surveillance using CCTV systems, ensuring all areas are monitored effectively for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Perform background checks on visitors, contractors, and new personnel to verify credentials and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing emergency response procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events for record-keeping and investigation purposes.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to peacefully resolve disputes or disruptive behavior among personnel or visitors.
- Operate law enforcement equipment such as Tasers and firearms where authorized, adhering strictly to safety regulations and protocols.
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Knowledge of military tactics, law enforcement procedures, and physical security measures.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety to respond effectively during emergencies.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation of events.
- Experience in performing background checks and managing access control systems efficiently.
- Skilled in conflict management and de-escalation strategies to maintain a safe environment.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations across various settings.
