Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team atmosphere
- Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper handling procedures
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development to maintain innovative and appealing offerings
- Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
- Lead shift management by organizing staffing schedules, delegating tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and culinary arts
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Extensive banquet experience and familiarity with catering operations
