Quality Control Inspector
Mount Olive, NC · Reports to: Quality Manager · Full-Time, On-Site
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to fill a critical role on our inspection team. This is not a passive inspection position. We need someone who takes initiative, digs into problems, and acts — quarantining material, documenting nonconformances, and driving root cause without waiting to be directed. You will work directly with the Quality Manager and manufacturing, and your work will be visible to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Testing

- Inspect weld joints visually and dimensionally to AWS D1.1. Monitor in-process welding for process control.
Nonconformance & Problem Resolution
- Initiate, document, and process NCMRs (Nonconforming Material Reports) and RMA-related NCMRs in quality management software.
- Perform preliminary root cause investigation and present corrective & preventive action solution to the Quality Manager — not just the problem
- Support CAPA activities directed by the Quality Manager
Quality System Support
- Assist the Quality Manager with internal audits.
- Maintain calibration records and support the facility’s calibration program for inspection tools and measuring equipment
Safety & Physical Requirements
- Handle heavy components safely using proper lifting techniques, mechanical assists, and PPE
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Skills & Competencies
- Visual weld inspection experience: AWS CWI certification or coursework is a plus
- Familiarity with hi-pot testing, continuity testing, or basic electrical assembly inspection
