Material Handler – Forklift Required

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler with proven forklift experience to support warehouse and production operations. This role follows a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule and requires accuracy, safe equipment operation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Material Handling & Warehouse Support
- Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, staging areas, and production lines as needed.
- Transport materials to designated storage or production areas.
- Maintain accurate counts when receiving, storing, or distributing materials.
Inventory & Documentation
- Assist with inventory control, including labeling, scanning, and tracking materials.
- Verify product type, quantity, and condition before movement or storage.
- Complete required paperwork or computer entries for material transactions.
Production Support
- Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner.
- Remove finished products from production areas and transport them to the warehouse or shipping area.
- Assist with packaging or palletizing when needed.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all safety procedures, including forklift safety and PPE requirements.
- Inspect forklift and equipment daily; report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Forklift experience required (stand‑up or sit‑down).
- Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts (days/nights).
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
