Maintenance
Defiance Stamping Company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Person.
2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Starting pay range: $27.00 - $28.00 plus $1.00 shift bonus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assists in all aspects of equipment and/or facilities maintenance as assigned (set-up, preventative maintenance, facilities, etc.)
· Changeover dies in presses.
· Changeover tappers; chaser, reamers heads.
· Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
· Observes, listens to, and troubleshoots operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair.
· Dismantles machine or equipment, using hand tools or power tools, to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part.
· Assembles and tests operates machine to verify correction of malfunction.
· Analyzes a problem and identifies the root cause.
