Responsibilities:
-
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepare journal entries, and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances.

Identify, research, and solve accounting issues.
-
Collaborate with other finance team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
-
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Assist in the coordination of the annual audit process.

Work with confidential data, which if disclosed, might have significant internal effect or minor external effect.

Work on special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.

Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.

Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills.
